Ingredients

  • 1 baguette sliced into 1/4" slices
  • 1/3 c olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic grated
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves or one tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425. In a large bowl whisk together the olive oil, grated garlic, thyme leaves and salt. Toss the baguette slices with the olive oil mixture then arrange on a baking tray in a single layer.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. As soon as they come out of the oven, season with a pinch of salt. Use a nice flakey sea salt if you have it! Let cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

Storing:
  • Crostini will keep in an airtight container or Ziploc bag at room temperature for up to one week. If they start to feel a bit stale after a few days, refresh them in a 400F oven for 2-3 minutes.
